A couple months ago I was contacting all my friends who have daughters to see who didn't preserve their wedding dress in a box like I did because I wanted to do the cute "daughter in mom's wedding dress" photoshoot. Well, Charlie's mom was my ticket and I told her my idea. It was even more perfect timing because Charlie was just about to turn one! It was a beautiful 85 degree evening with Charlie past her bedtime but she was a champ. She and I spent some quality time together and she was so intrigued by my camera. Her family lives on a photographer's dream piece of land...a pond, fields, orchard, all with the sun setting upon it. Couple that with a photogenic baby and loving couple, it is no wonder we were able to capture the best pictures!
With the uncertainty of safety due to covid-19, we opted for an outdoor newborn session! A new baby in the natural elements was truly special and baby Eliza was perfection. However, the mosquitos were something else! They are such a beautiful family <3
Yes, these are my children! We went out to Pine River Nature Center to scope it out and the boys tagged along. We had fun exploring and I snapped some pictures along the way. I know I am bias, but aren't they the cutest?
Marshall was a dream baby! For this being my very first official newborn session, I could not have asked for more encouraging parents and a sweeter newborn. I was a little unsure how the Dad's plaid shirt was going to look in the pictures, but I now am obsessed with it! I just happened to have a swaddle that matched it perfectly, really bringing the look all together. Haley & Matt are going to be exceptional parents! Thank you for trusting Marshall with me. He will always hold a special place in my heart <3
